- Simmons Island Beach: There is a boardwalk and playground on the beach, as well as an open-air picnic pavilion in the park. The area is located near a paved bike trail and two lighthouses. During the summer, portable mobility mats are placed on the sand to accommodate wheelchairs and walkers.
